- Follow up in a timely manner on all business inquiries and leads and qualify business to generate room nights and impact RevPar performance.
- Achieve monthly and annual revenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, and entertainment as outlined in the Golden Selling Hours.
- Manage annual RFP process for each individual targeted account including account and market intelligence and pricing recommendations to maximize hotel profitability and secure travel program inclusion.
- Protect the Golden-Selling Hours. Allocate time and resources as appropriate for account potential.
- Handle sales calls and trips in a cost and time-efficient manner.
- Ability to plan activities in advance. Ability to coordinate special events, promotions and other required management duties as assigned.
- Identify, select and participate in local organization that will garner positive exposure for hotel, increase network of potential clients, and generate new business opportunities. Ideally, manager would have opportunity to serve on a committee or board to demonstrate leadership within the community.
- Maintain thorough and complete product knowledge of FS hotel property and in-depth understanding of comp set’s Features/Advantages/Benefits.
- Perform customer site inspections to uncover needs and present solutions that will maximize booking opportunity and create strong customer relationships.
- Create VIP or mini Group resumes identifying and communicating traveler’s needs and acting as liaison to ensure all operational and marketing aspects of their stay are met.
- Track and focus on conversion to ensure hotel revenue objectives and personal goals are impacted and achieved.
- Contact customers in-house to promote good will and foster additional business or repeat business to property or sister property.
- Do aggressive upsell to increase hotel’s revenue and cross-sell FS properties where appropriate.
- Establish and maintain strong GOLDEN S&C hygiene including account creation, account traces, updated comprehensive contact information, client email lists, bookings, etc. in accordance with Four Seasons standards.
- Produce monthly sales recaps of market achievement based upon marketing plan objectives.
- Produce and execute quarterly and annual action plans of own accounts.

Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen is ideally located in the heart of the commercial district of Futian, across the Shenzhen Conference & Exhibition Center and a short walk from the Civic Center which houses the city’s Municipal Hall and Museum as well as near the famed Shenzhen Concert Hall and Library. The Hotel is surrounded by 3 modern shopping malls and is a few steps away from the subway metro station and 10-minute drive to 2 Hong Kong borders of Huanggang and Futian. Built along contemporary lines, the Hotel features 266 rooms inclusive of 32 suites, a Club Lounge, Business Centre, 4 food and beverage outlets, and a grand ballroom with 5 other function venues plus a unique outdoor multilevel Terraces.About the role
Senior Sales Manager is responsible for business generation as it relates to prospecting and securing individual corporate, travel and wholesales, government and all group accounts on behalf of the Hotel in accordance with the goals and strategies outlined in the annual Marketing Plan and Hotel Rooms Revenue Budget and in concert with WSO effort.

What you bring
Good oral communication skill in Chinese & English.
Computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, GOLDEN S&C, Internet and Opera.
Previous experience minimum 2 years in similar position with proven sales track record.
Luxury hotel Sales preferred (minimum of 3 years) or operational hotel experience.
Is able to travel approximately 30%-40% of the time.
