You will lead containment and remediation of high impact cloud security incidents as Incident Commander leader.
Be an authority with vision by driving cloud security industry standards and improve models across the company to up level NVIDIA's security and identity.
Lead strategic projects providing significant impact to NVIDIA's overall security posture.
Review of alerts from internal Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools requiring log correlation, log analysis, resolving malicious behavior, vetting of False Positives, remediating system misconfigurations and tracking system state changes.
Providing first level response for security events including but not limited to intrusion detection, malicious use of cloud resources, denial of service attacks, privileged account misuse and network breaches.
Triage alerts and potential security events with sophisticated threat response and engineering teams.
Build automated vulnerability scans and review vulnerability assessment reports.
Build and maintain security playbooks and apply them for remediation and recovery efforts.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related subject area or equivalent experience.
6+ years of hands-on experience in SOC or Security Incident response teams.
Experience with cloud, IaaS, PaaS, environment is preferable.
Threat detection using sophisticated log ingestion and data inputs.
Data analytics platforms such as Splunk and Kibana.
Proven background in security products and technologies, security engineering, networking protocols (TCP/UDP), security analysis, network and endpoint forensics.
Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) systems, authentication and authorization mechanisms, encryption of data in transit and data at rest.
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable, Nessus, Qualys.
Focused on collaboration with excellent verbal and written skills to build effective documentation and streamlined incident reports.
Familiar with industry compliance standards relevant to Software as a Service and Cloud Computing, such as ISO27001, SOC2, NIST, HIPPA and PCI-DSS.
Understanding and/or experience with AWS security controls (security groups, Cloud Trail, etc.).
One or more security certifications (CISSP, SSCP, CSSP, GISP, Security+, etc.).
Previous experience in solving security challenges in a Hybrid cloud environment (workloads spread across on-premise data center and public cloud such as AWS).

The base salary range is $156,000 - $247,250.
