      Responsibilities

      This position calls for an experienced and talented SEO professional who will support the development, execution and ongoing optimization of the SEO strategy to improve multiple Mayo Clinic's domains and subdomains organic search rankings and maximize online visibility. Responsibilities include development of enterprise and local search acquisition strategies, user intent and keyword research, competitive analysis, managing Local and/or International SEO campaigns and technical audits. Conduct content gap analysis and implement keyword-rich content strategies to drive organic traffic. Collaborate closely with IT teams, both internal (Mayo Clinic) and external (vendors), to ensure early integration of SEO requirements into the web development process, followed by validation and monitoring. Research and stay on top of Google algorithm and SERP changes to identify opportunities as well as emerging issues that may have a negative impact on SEO. Develop performance dashboard and analytics metrics and KPIs; deliver project analysis, monthly recaps, and other routine reports. Leverage various SEO big data sources, programmatic solutions as well as emerging AI/ChatGPT technologies to provide insights that drive recommendations for continuous improvement. Conduct SEO experiments and testing, validate hypotheses and identify new optimization opportunities. Work collaboratively with Consumer Insights & Analytics colleagues, Editorial, Experience Design, IT, Ontology and other groups to establish, and implement taxonomy, data standards, guidelines, and best practices in order to optimize search relevance.

      Qualifications

      Qualifications:

      Minimum BS/BA in Computer Science, Marketing or other degree.
      3 years of agency experience or managing enterprise SEO campaigns
      3 years experience SEM and SEO
      Experience developing and implementing SEO strategies, conducting technical audits and SEO problem solving.
      3 years experience leading projects in a complex environment.
      3 years experience in SEO content development/management within a digital setting.
      3 years experience with Digital Analytics and/or quantitative analysis skills.
      3 years experience conducting keyword research
      3 years experience link acquisition, content promotion and outreach
      3 years of SEO technical experience including site performance optimization, structured data and A/B testing.

      Strong understanding of SEM, Social Media and eCommerce
      Expert in utilizing SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Conductor, Google AdWords, Screaming frog or other SEO tools
      Advanced experience with Google Analytics 360, Google Search Console
      Experience working with CMS environments such as Sitecore and WordPress
      Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration
      High level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access

      Ability to initiate and drive projects, tenacity to deliver results in a complex environment and to manage work across multiple projects. Ability to translate business requirements into technical plans and reporting solutions in order to analyze data, interpret results and recommend solutions to enable teams to make decisions around optimizing or understanding product investments. Keen problem solving abilities. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/responsibilities.. High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access and Outlook. Must be self-motivated.

      Additional Qualifications:

      Prefer a candidate that has experience working with CMS environments such as Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore and Wordpress

      Prefer a minimum of 2 years managing SEO at the enterprise level
      SQL and big data mining experience
      SEO technical experience
      SEO certification a plus

      Compensation Detail

      $113,693 - $164,882/ year; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
