What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, design, test, and operate Identity, Authentication, Authorization, and Session Management for Splunk Products
- Create low-level designs and implement complex backend systems
- Monitor production systems to ensure reliability and performance
- Collaborate with team members to tackle complex technical challenges
- Enhance software security across distributed environments

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent training or work experience
- 8+ years of experience building complex distributed backend systems
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth2, OIDC, RBAC, and ABAC
- Proficiency in Java 8+
- Familiarity with frontend development frameworks like Angular or React
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native development on AWS & GCP
