      How You will Contribute:

      • Design and develop Datapath for L2/L3/MPLS/OAM/Datapath features and capabilities in a switching/routing system.
      • Continuous learning and development of skills in Broadcom XGS/DNX Datapath for OAM, CFM, Y.1731, MPLS OAM, BFD, IP-Routing, L2VPN, L3VPN, EVPN, MPLS Transport SR, BGP-LU, RSVP, MPLS-TP, Protection, MPLS QoS, network virtualization.
      • Translate market directions, customer requirements, and new industry standards into software design and execution activities.
      • Author and contribution to software design, development, validation, and documentation to deliver high-quality, functionally excellent products.
      • Lead discussions with 3rd party vendors and drive integration with new and existing platforms.
      • Assist and lead in product demos to the customers.
      • Prioritize & drive resolution of customer issues actively with customer support teams.
      • Drive innovation & take initiatives to improve the SW product quality, suggest and drive debuggability and usability improvements.

      The Must Haves:

      • BS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
      • Software development experience on Routing & Ethernet Switching Networking Platforms
      • Excellent C programming and troubleshooting skills in embedded Linux environment.
      • Deep exposure in Broadcom XGS/DNX Datapath
      • Good understanding in CFM, Y.1731, MPLS OAM, BFD, IP-Routing, L2VPN, L3VPN, EVPN, MPLS Transport SR, BGP-LU, RSVP, MPLS-TP, Protection, MPLS QoS, network virtualization
      • Hands-on experience and good knowledge of chassis-based multi-line card and pizza box architecture.
      • Good understanding of System design, Datapath and HAL design principles, High availability (HA), Security, Performance, and scalability design aspects.
      • Exposure to docker, container-based microservices application development in C language.
      • Experience in Distributed and Disaggregated Chassis (DDC) architecture is desired.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively able to collaborate with multiple teams across geographically diverse areas.
      • Good knowledge of network design and deployment scenarios in Carrier/Metro Ethernet Space is desirable.
      • Ability to work well with a group of junior and senior engineers in a high-energy, dynamic, fast-paced development environment.
