      We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Solutions and Network Engineering team, which is part of the greater Engineering organization. Our team updates, creates, and maintains state-of-the-art tools and interfaces for key areas of our business-to-business and network channels. You will partner closely with product management, engineering leadership, design, QA, and your fellow engineers to implement a best-in-class technical experience. Summarized, our tech stack going forward is a mix of React frontends calling dotnet microservices.

      Responsibilities:

      Responsibilities:

      · Develop, troubleshoot and maintain functionality of ReactJS-based microsites

      · Assist with the development and maintenance of automated unit and end to end test cases

      · Collaborate with team and other engineering staff to accomplish all daily engineering tasks on-time with a high level of quality

      · Ensure defects are addressed in the project lifecycle resulting in the resolution of the defect or the defect being moved to a future release.

      · Effectively engage with business stakeholders

      · Participate in daily stand-ups and other team meetings

      · Participate in the development of end-user documentation

      · Maintain and advance knowledge of technologies related to web applications through training and mentoring

      · Comply with policies, procedures, and standards defined by the engineering department and company

      Qualifications:

      · 8+ years of software engineering experience (full-stack or frontend focus preferred)

      · Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience

      · 2+ years’ experience with ReactJS development

      · Higher-level architectural thinking

      · Ability to work in distributed code bases

      · Proficiency with C#/.NET is beneficial

      · Familiar with Agile concepts

      · Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

      · Ability to effectively interact with, peers, managers, and vendors

      · Self-starter with high level of initiative

      · Ability to pay high attention to detail, troubleshoot, and analyze

      Physical Demands:

      · Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk

      · Extensive periods of working on a computer

      Performance Outcomes:

      Successful Development of Products or Systems

      · Perform frontend coding for web and/or mobile, using React, React Native, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node, or similar

      · Implement UI primitives spanning web and mobile (contributing to internal open-source frameworks)

      · Implement products used by external customers and service providers

      · Write reliable and tested code including unit testing and CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous delivery) pipeline contributions

      · Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes throughout testing and create a comprehensive database of defects and successful mitigation techniques

      Effective Engagement and Collaboration

      · Work closely and effectively with teammates, which may include fellow software engineers, program/product managers, software test engineers, and others

      · Contribute to the implementation of dynamic requirements/initiatives with teammates, cross-team collaborators, and with business partners as appropriate

      · Participate in daily agile stand-ups, story creation/sizing/updating

      · Share on-call/escalation responsibilities with your team

      · Help train and mentor new and more junior teammates
