What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contribute to the Finance team at both the individual and team levels
- Provide technical mentorship to team members
- Improve and maintain Ruby on Rails applications and SQL code
- Collaborate with Product Management on new features and platform enhancements
- Integrate Veracross with third-party systems used by private K-12 schools

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4+ years of professional programming experience
- Strong knowledge of SQL objects, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Experience with the Ruby language, Rails framework, or similar technologies
- Understanding of core accounting standards and concepts, such as GAAP and Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with tuition management software
- Experience with payment processing applications
- Familiarity with accounting applications like Quickbooks, Freshbooks, Xero, or Sage
