  Position Summary...

  Highly competent and experienced SAP Finance consultant who has exceptional skills and experience in working on large scale Finance transformation programs in designing and building standardized solutions to deliver finance business processes. Ideal candidate should have a proven ability to provide technical direction for complex Finance transformation program powered by SAP S/4 HANA and can collaborate with the business and developers and execute on agreed timelines. Ideal candidate should be able to independently drive design and takes ownership for end to end solution

  Enterprise Business Services is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, Associate Digital Experience.

  Team is looking for an experienced SAP Finance consultants who will contribute to the S4 implementation, support and maintenance.

  This role demands comprehensive knowledge of support systems and tools including DevOps, Incident management, handling escalations, abilities to provide quick and effective workarounds and solutions to facilitate seamless and smooth functioning of the applications.

  What you'll do:

  • Work as an Individual contributor to be part of SAP competency center in supporting Finance roadmap and supporting the operations in both S4 and ECC versions.
  • Bring best in class experience in SAP Finance modules such as GL, AR, AP, Assets, Project systems & Taxes with a proven track record of S4 HANA implementation experience.
  • Ability to work independently in all phases of projects starting from business requirement gathering, solution design, build, testing (Integration, Regression, UAT), Data loads and cutover, Go live and hyper care.
  • Contributes to Solution architecture/design for finance business processes across finance areas.
  • Brings best practice in retail and able to influence adoption of the same.
  • Bring innovative solutions, automation in SAP deployments.
  • Provide Recommendations to business problems with pro and cons.
  • Should possess strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in customer centric environment.
  • Build a good rapport with business community, cross functional teams and program leadership.
  • Should have strong articulation skills and stakeholder management.
  • Should be able to own end to end responsibility for the assigned activities S4 HANA and existing ECC systems.
  • Responsible for analyzing, solutioning, designing, configuring, enhancing, and testing the integrated finance solution.
  • Working Experience in both Direct & Indirect taxes is must
  • Working experience in Vertex Accelerator & O series configuration is an added advantage

  What will you bring:

  • Expertise in designing and building Finance business processes
  • S4 HANA experience is mandatory.
  • Extensive experience in implementing Direct & indirect tax solutions leveraging SAP Finance modules including integration with MM
  • Extensive experience of Configuration for GL, AP, AR, Asset accounting and MM/SD Pricing along with related master data.
  • Knowledge of country specific Direct & Indirect taxes (GST, VAT, HST, PST, QST) scenarios and reporting needs (Example 1099 report in US) along with applicable business scenarios.
  • Knowledge of indirect tax impact on SAP invoice verification/FI AP invoice processing and SAP Order related billing is required.
  • Ability to understand business requirements within the business processes, translate them to executable design and build tasks and communicate effectively with a non-technical audience.
  • Design, build and support integrations to external agencies including tax authorities where needed.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation according to the project methodology for all aspects of requirements, development, testing and implementation.
  • Experience with Vertex interface administration would be beneficial

  Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.E./MBA/CA/ICWA/Tax professional with Finance specialization or any other relevant qualification.
  • Extensive knowledge of S4 HANA Implementation of GL, AR,AP, Fixed Assets, and tax modules of FICO in reputed global organization.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in implementation / application enhancement /production support/ projects in Finance.
  • Minimum experience of 4+ implementation projects.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience across all SAP Finance modules and DevOps methodology.
  • Must have hands-on knowledge and experience on support tools - Service Now, JIRA, Charm, ALM.
  • Effective business communication and stakeholder management skills.
