      Senior Sourcing Manager, Raw Materials

      OUR ROLE

      At Fiskars, we are on a mission to innovate and drive sustainability in every part of our supply chain, and the Senior Sourcing Manager for Raw Materials plays a key role in bringing this vision to life. As a pivotal member of our global sourcing team, you will be responsible for shaping the sourcing strategy for raw materials across our production and 3PM manufacturing operations. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on collaboration, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver cost efficiencies, quality improvements, and sustainable practices. You will have the opportunity to influence key decisions across metals, plastics, and packaging, while also driving long-term partnerships with our suppliers.       This position is based in any of the locations Espoo, Finland/ Stockholm, Sweden/ Eschborn, Germany and reports to our Global Director Sourcing. The role is full-time and hybrid.

      WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS

      Responsibilities:

      • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a global sourcing strategy for Raw Materials that aligns with Fiskars' business objectives, ensuring seamless execution across all regions.

      • Supplier Management: Build and manage strong relationships with key suppliers in Metals, Plastics, and Packaging to ensure consistent supply, cost competitiveness, and high-quality standards.

      • Cost Optimization: Lead cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement programs to drive efficiency and reduce costs within the Raw Materials supply base.

      • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, conduct regular cost analysis, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation.

      • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to manage supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity, including regular risk assessments and contingency plans for critical suppliers.

      • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global sourcing team, fostering collaboration and innovation, while ensuring continuous improvement and strong team performance.

      • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Business Areas, to align sourcing strategies with company goals, acting as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders.

      • Compliance & Innovation: Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements while driving innovation and implementing new sourcing technologies to enhance efficiency.

      WHO YOU ARE

      • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

      • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain management, with at least 5 years’ experience in Raw Materials buying in a leadership role overseeing Raw Materials suppliers.

      • Proven ability to negotiate effectively and manage contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both the company and suppliers.

      • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve high performance and foster collaboration.

      • Ability to analyse complex data, identify challenges, and develop effective solutions.

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.

      • Ability to navigate and work effectively within a global, matrixed organization, aligning cross-functional teams towards common goals.

      • Knowledge of regional business practices and communication styles, with an understanding of how these influence global sourcing and decision-making.

      • Ability to understand and discuss technical specifications, quality standards, and other relevant aspects that impact sourcing and supply chain operations.
