      The Opportunity
      You will join our growing Global Sales and Services Team to provide technical analyses and support to our growing customer base in France and European. You will enjoy a fun and flexible work environment and exceptional benefits while providing insight on the LEO regime to some of the newest space companies and government organizations in the world. You will also be tasked to provide these customers with training on our products and industry best practices. To this end, you will work with our SDA solution architects, engineering team, and product management team to implement customer requests, inform the development of new products and features, and develop engaging training materials.

      Your responsibilities on the team may include:
      • Daily interactions with government teams, contractors, and commercial customers
      • Developing training materials and hosting training sessions with French government teams
      • Using the LeoLabs platform to analyze satellite operations and events in Low Earth Orbit (LEO)
      • Supporting launch tracking and customer interaction and product delivery
      • Implementing scripts to interact with the LeoLabs API to monitor and report on interesting events in LEO
      • Participate in training sessions and demonstrations to introduce government clients and other contractors to LeoLabs web-based platform and API services
      • Responding to customer requests for technical analyses and minor modifications
      • Working with an SDA solution architect to refine customer needs into concrete ideas for future features and products

      Qualifications
      • B.S. in Astrodynamics, Aerospace, Physics, or another technical field
      • 3+ years industry experience or graduate degree in one or more of the following subjects: space situational awareness, astrodynamics, space mission analysis and design, space systems engineering, spacecraft operations
      • Familiarity with using scripting languages to solve engineering problems (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Julia, R)
      • Able to provide technical training, analysis, and advice to customers in French
      • Willingness to work in an environment where English is the primary working language

      Preferred qualifications
      • Experience conducting software training sessions and demonstrating software products
      • Proficiency with software development, particularly using RESTful interfaces

      Within 1 month, you’ll:
      • Complete our onboarding program designed to get you up to speed on our business, vision and team
      • Be familiar with the Sales and Field Application team and how the team fits into LeoLabs broader organization
      • Meet customers, partners, and other stakeholders in France
      • Ramp up on LeoLabs technology stack

      Within 3 months, you’ll:
      • Be fully up-to-speed on the LeoLabs system architecture
      • Give training sessions based on existing materials
      • Based on customer feedback, begin developing new training units
      • Begin developing scripts to respond to customer requests for data, analysis, and visualization

      Within 6 months, you’ll:
      • Be responsible for providing customers with timely response to operational requests and questions
      • Use the LeoLabs platform to monitor any on-orbit events and report to French stakeholders
      • Participate in operational exercises alongside other SDA analysts in the Asia Pacific region
      • Have developed, delivered, and revised several new training units
      • Support SDA solutions architect on defining customer requirements for new product features and preparing proposals

      Within 12 months, you’ll:
      • Be supporting the onboarding of newer team members
      • Be participating in the definition and planning for future LeoLabs projects
      • Be an expert recognized amongst French stakeholders on LeoLabs services and SSA operations

      ITAR REQUIREMENTS
