What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare data from various large datasets for analysis, automating data preparation when possible
- Create data visualizations using applications such as Tableau, PowerBI, and MS Excel
- Analyze trends and determine the accuracy and relevance of data to present solutions
- Prepare meaningful reports that interpret findings for upper management decision-making
- Present data analysis and findings to leadership and external stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in statistics, Public Health, epidemiology, or a relevant field
- Minimum of five (5) years of data experience in healthcare, statistics, or related fields
- Ability to program in SQL, preferably in an SMSS and/or PostgreSQL environment
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (2016 or later), including functions like vLookup and pivot tables
- Epic certification required within six months of hire
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- PhD in statistics, Public Health, epidemiology, or a relevant field
- Two (2) years of healthcare industry experience
- Two to three (2-3) years in a lead analytics or strategy role
- Experience with statistical software or programming languages such as STATA, R, and/or Python
- Interest in learning mapping software or working with data within the healthcare sector
