Senior Strategy Manager: £80,000 to £100,000 London - £70,000 to £90,000 National (Bristol, York and Norwich).

We are excited to announce we are looking for a Senior Strategy Manager here at Aviva. The ideal candidate will have Financial Services Strategy experience within a consultancy or an in-house strategy role at Manager level or above.

A bit about the role:
The role will support strategy development for Aviva’s UK&I Life business – large enough to be a FTSE100 company by itself – and its components, acting as a strategic advisor to the UK&I Life CEO, UK&I Life ExCo and statutory Board(s). The role will involve working across UK&I Life as well as partnering with a specific part of the Life business.

This role will be instrumental in driving the strategy-setting process across key projects, building out analyses and presenting key insights and recommendations to Managing Directors and CEO level stakeholders as well as collaborators from the Group teams (e.g., CEO, CFO, Group Strategy team, Board members.

In support of strategic decision-making, the role-holder will also provide market and competitor insight to relevant collaborators across the UK&I Life business and Group. The role will help give the right individual an opportunity to form and maintain positive relationships with UK&I Life ExCo members, providing support as well as challenge to the key strategic questions and choices at hand.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
• Proven problem-solving skills and good ability to structure & frame solutions
• Strong Excel skills, including building a model; Strong PowerPoint skills, including crafting a presentation; Strong written communication skills
• Commercial and financial acumen (e.g., good understanding of business strategy concepts and able to translate this into commercial implications)
• A strong understanding of Insurance and Financial Services in the UK
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
• The ideal candidate will have Financial Services Strategy experience within a consultancy or an in-house strategy role at Manager level or above.

• Annual salary between £70,000 and £90,000 national - £80,000 - £100,000 London (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
