- Define the Requirements based on the Customer Specific Requirements.
- Identify the Potential Suppliers with Procurement team.
- Collect the Information from Suppliers.
- Preliminary Review of the Documentations.
- Supplier Shortlisting.
- Supplier Evaluation Audit.
- Supplier Approval.
- Review The Customersu2019 contracts and requirements.
- Create the supplieru2019s requirement project based on customer requirements.
- Request the Quality Documents to each supplier based on Customer and e-Storage Requirements.
- Review all the Suppliers Documents u201CPQP, ITS, QMS, Control Planu2026etc.u201D.
- Create the Warranty and Quality Exhibit with procurement team.
- Witness the first FAT at suppliers Sites.
- Follow up the Suppliers NCRu2019s and CAR during the preliminary Project stages.
- Make the lessons learned and hand over the project to a serial team.
- Follow up the Suppliers NCR and CAR with the Quality Project team.
- Review the supplieru2019s corrective actions and follow up the actionu2019s efficiency.
- Organize a weekly NCR follow up with each supplier.
- Plan an Audit supplier in case of Critical issue or repetitive issue.
- Visit a supplier during a preliminary selection process.
- Audit the selected suppliers for approval.
- Visit the suppliers for the first FAT witness.
- Audit a supplier in case of critical issues in the earlier stage.
- Education: Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field). Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA, Six Sigma) are preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in supplier quality, quality engineering, or a related field, ideally in the energy storage, automotive, or electronics industries with a focus on BESS, batteries, or power systems.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and control plans.
- Hands-on experience with quality tools (8D, 5-Whys, SPC) and familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma principles. u00A0 Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.u00A0 Black belt a plus .
- Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory standards for BESS components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex quality issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with suppliers and internal teams effectively.
- Additional Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites as required (up to 30% travel).
- Familiarity with ERP/MES/QMS software for tracking supplier performance and quality metrics.
- Knowledge of BESS technologies and components, including lithium-ion batteries, thermal management, and power electronics, is highly desirable.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (ASQE) specializing in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to support our growing BESS product line. This role will ensure that our suppliers meet stringent quality standards, contribute to continuous improvement efforts, and help manage risk in the supply chain for critical BESS components. The S SQE will collaborate closely with suppliers, procurement, engineering, and quality teams to drive product quality from the concept phase through production launch and ongoing support.
