What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts to achieve project goals
- Oversee data architecture, design, modeling, implementation, and maintenance in the clinical data ecosystem
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data needs into functional and technical specifications
- Ensure optimal performance, data integrity, and compliance with industry standards
- Manage metadata and data governance processes while communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in systems analysis, focusing on data warehousing in the healthcare payer sector
- Expertise in dimensional modeling and SQL
- Extensive experience in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in data architecture and design, including Erwin
- Knowledge of the healthcare payer industry, including claims, enrollment, and clinical decision support systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with DB2, ETL tools (Ab Initio), and reporting tools (Cognos, Tableau)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong collaboration and team-building abilities
