What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee IT project management for a range of cross-functional and interdepartmental projects
- Collaborate with external customers, operations, and IT departments throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct project planning activities, including requirements gathering and business case development
- Distill technical requirements into actionable user stories or specifications in conjunction with engineers and product owners
- Manage project communications and status report outs to stakeholders, while monitoring project risks and scope changes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience in IT project management for small to large-scale projects
- Strong technical acumen, particularly in Networking (Switches, Routers, Wiring)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience working with external carriers such as AT&T and Verizon
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience managing a team of Project Managers
- Familiarity with project measurement systems and reporting tools
- Background in technical architecture or solution design
- Experience in a contract-to-hire environment
