- Work primarily as an anaesthetic practitioner.
- Lead and mentor junior members of the team, deputising for the Lead Theatre Practitioner when necessary.
- Prepare operating and anaesthetic rooms for surgery as required.
- Ensure the highest standards of infection prevention and control are carried out.
- Assessing patient care requirements, implementing care, and evaluating outcomes.

- Be a registered Practitioner (RN or ODP)
- Post registration qualification as Practice Supervisor or Assessor
- Post registration qualification as Surgical First Assistant
- Post registration experience as a Theatre Practitioner in Anaesthetics
- Have experience in planning, organising and running lists within the theatre suite.
- Experience of supervising staff and scheduling operating lists
- Have evidence of continuous professional development and its application.
- Post registration clinical experience in Orthopaedic Scrub, in an acute hospital (NHS or Private) within the last 18 months.
- Be a registered Practitioner (RN or ODP)
- Post registration qualification as Practice Supervisor or Assessor
- Post registration qualification as Surgical First Assistant
- Post registration experience as a Theatre Practitioner in Anaesthetics
- Have experience in planning, organising and running lists within the theatre suite.
- Experience of supervising staff and scheduling operating lists
