      Job summary

      Job Title: Service Delivery & Resilience GP Administrator Location: South Warwickshire GP Federation HQ (Gainsborough Hall), Practices across South Warwickshire, with occasional remote working. Reporting To: Service Delivery Manager Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week (Monday Friday), 12 months fixed term Salary: £12.21 per hour

      Main duties of the job

      We are seeking a proactive and organised GP Administrator with excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities to support service delivery and resilience across South Warwickshire GP practices.

      The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

      Patient Interaction:

      Answering practice phone lines, triaging calls, and managing patient queries.

      Greeting and checking in patients, ensuring a welcoming environment.

      Scheduling and confirming appointments.

      Supporting patients and carers by providing information, signposting services, and assisting with care navigation.

      Administrative Support:

      Processing EMIS online proxy forms and registrations for new patients.

      Accurately SNOMED-coding data in EMIS Web.

      Document management, including scanning, coding, and filing.

      Inputting and maintaining accurate patient records.

      Supporting clinical staff with general administrative tasks.

      Coordinating referrals and managing patient flow across services.

      Ensuring adherence to confidentiality, safeguarding, and data protection policies.

      Operational Support:

      Assisting in delivering South Warwickshire GP Federation contracts and services.

      Contributing to improvement projects and multidisciplinary team initiatives.
