Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the General Surgery Directorate to cover maternity leave on a one year fixed term contract. The Service Manager will cover St Richards and Worthing Hospitals sites
This role will support the Directorate and Divisional senior management team through the co-ordination of performance monitoring, clinical governance reporting, project work, and with gathering relevant information / production of reports as required.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be directly responsible for supporting and co- coordinating others to deliver timely and effective business support across for the Directorate, which will require strong planning, prioritising, administrative and organisational skills. Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for leading, developing and improving the overall management of administrative services for the Directorate and for the day to day line management of our leads and administration staff, ensuring all statutory and mandatory training requirements and appraisals are maintained.
This role includes direct line management and support for the Surgical Rota Coordinators and oversight and management of the junior rotas
