Supporting the creation/development of service transition process and best practice
Ensure IT Service Transition plans for new / changing services are produced and maintained
Supporting projects through the service transition process and ensuring all project stage gates have the prerequisite service transition deliverables to agreed quality levels
Ensure IT Services Run organization is appropriately setup to take on ongoing support of new or changed service
Support projects & IT Services through project go-live and hyper-care periods
Defining & maintaining service design and transition policy, processes, templates and deliverables
Planning of service design and transition activities against the active program of change within Belron
Ensure that all Programs & Projects follow service transition policy and processes
Work in conjunction with Global IT Service Design to ensure all programs have an effective IT Service Run capability clearly defined
Work in conjunction with Global IT Service Design to define the service requirements including SLAs, hours of operation, Non-functional requirements and perform gap analysis between standard support models and the requirements for new or changing services
Responsible for defining and agreeing the criteria needed to be passed prior to the project exiting hypercare support with the service organization and the project
Ensuring 3rd Party Service Integrators are effectively onboarded to Belron and ready to support hypercare and IT Service run activities
Ensure Belron Service desk is configured to support new programs or projects moving to IT Service Run.
Responsible for ensuring that the service organization, both internal and external, has the necessary training, documentation and processes to support the project implementation.
Manage the risk profile to ensure that all parties understand and sign off against any risks that have not been mitigated
Ensure that Service transition process definitions and will pass audit and compliance assessments, this includes managing the evidence repository for all transition activities as required
ITL knowledge is a must.
Project Management experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Reporting to the Global Service Design and Manager, the role is accountable for delivering world class IT Service transition, specifically by ensuring that ALL projects and programs are effectively transitioned from project to IT run with minimal business disruption.
The Service Transition role will support the creation / ongoing development of the service transition processes and its subsequent operation. The role will work closely with the Transformation programs, Project Managers, IT Operations and Infrastructure teams and 3rd party resources also delivering service introduction functions within the portfolio.
