Job Description/ Responsibilities
Project involves understanding the Application portfolio landscape at the client and ensuring that the information is updated in APM Module of ServiceNow. Need to have deep understanding of APM Module and guide the team
Preferably should continue post APM implementation for the below activities across 6 divisions, and Approx. 2000 Applications.
1.ServiceNow – Application Portfolio Management Architecture experience
2. Verifying the Quality of Capabilities
- Should have Architecture and Technical Background to be able to validate the functions of the Products (should know what products will typically be used for what functions and process),should be able to understand Application interrelationships, check on alignment of Capabilities, ensure Capability definition nomenclature and standards are followed and recommend corrections if needed. Develop, configure APM reports that are not out of the Box
3. Business case development:
To be able to build business cases for the recommendation of Sustain, Invest, Sunset, Enhance of applications, based on the following analysis
Risk - based on Product Life Cycle Support ; How good or Bad the Product is based on Application lifecycle score (outdated, nearing end of life etc), Incidents and Changes ;
Value - Utilization ; Functional Fitment ; Cost - (Procurement, Number of Instances installed, Maintenance) vs Value vs Risk; Impact assessment (Application Integrations and Interrelationships)
