- Install HVAC systems on commercial construction projects.
- Hang, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal.
- Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate runs of duct using hand tools and power tools.
- Assemble and install sheet metal ducts, fitters, and hangers.
- Join ducts and fittings using screws, bolts, drives, solder, caulk, and weld joints.
- 4+ years of experience on commercial construction projects.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Experience laying hangers and installing ducts.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication and installation.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Sheet Metal Mechanic in San Antonio Texas
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to install HVAC systems on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience hanging, cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal, as well as assembling and installing sheet metal ducts, fitters, and hangers.

Work Environment
You will need to travel to the job site daily in your own vehicle. Job sites are located in the SA area. Expect to work 40+ hours a week, with flexibility for overtime as needed. Work starts at 7:00 am most days, and you will need to report to the office for a mandatory safety orientation on your first Monday.

This is a Permanent position based out of San Antonio, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $74880.00/yr.
