- Maintain and distribute all employee, management, and management support work schedules (8 total schedules).
- Plan and distribute all shipping and freezer out bound loads.
- Calculate daily shipped on time percentages.
- Draft and distribute the morning hold over report and afternoon positioning report.
- Review customer claims and complaints following up with a timely.
- Gather and enter the data for the morning card count for staffing.
- Work with production schedulers, load controllers and management to communicate estimated time completion (ETC) for loads that are running past deadline, then respond back to the supply chain group.
- Calculate daily shag times, shipping/freezer mis rotations, pallet placement audits, order fill rate and on time deliveries entering data to track bi-weekly scorecard metrics.
- Work with load controllers and management to prorate orders, carrier changes and sales changes as needed.
- Data entry responsibilities such as man pounds/hour, rework and recall information.

- High school diploma required, and some college preferred with course work in supply chain, logistics, or other related field.
- Work experience in warehouse, shipping or other related field in a high volume, fast-paced work environment is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite. Microsoft, WMS, & AS400.
- Proficient in English, bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
As part of the shipping team, this position ensures the planning, scheduling of daily loads, product flow, and customer claims for a processing facility harvesting over 20,000 animals on two shifts daily and shipping over 180 truckloads of product daily. You will develop a high-level view of the warehousing/shipping operations and related processes to implement improvements of processes designed to maximize throughput and lead times to customers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to wet, cold and/or humid conditions. Consistently working in environment ranging from +35 to -20 degrees. The noise level in the work environment is usually at a level wear OSHA required hearing protection is required.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. Must be available to work A or B or C shifts when need or as assigned.
