- Work with cross-functional partners (Sales and Retail Customers, Integrated and Category Marketing, etc.) to strategize, plan, and execute Retailer Marketing campaigns, promotions, and events that effectively engage target consumers across the shopper journey, both online & off, and ensure optimal return on investment based on Category and Co-op goals.
- Liaison between internal (Sales, Integrated and Category Marketing, Finance, etc.) and external (Retail Marketing and Agency) partners in the presentation of annual budgets and activation plans, as well as on-going plan optimizations and performance share-outs.
- Understand online and offline customer marketing strategies and analyze shopper/consumer insights and retail trends to identify key opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Monitor and analyze program performance metrics and effectively communicate key findings of programs to Sales and other cross-functional teams, proactively addressing gaps and turning analysis into action to drive category growth.
- Steward and continuously improve our go-to-market technology platforms, tools, processes and workflow, ensuring the sales/customer voice is considered, all centered on a deep understanding of the shopper journey.

- Strong visual, written, and verbal communicator with ability to create and present compelling materials that clearly communicate activation plans to internal and external partners.
- Demonstrate proven understanding and curiosity around CROPP’s competitive landscape and activation best practices as well as new opportunities.
- Demonstrate highly developed project management skills and exceptional organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize to ensure optimal allocation of resources.
- Undergraduate degree in Business or Marketing (preferred).
- 5-7 years of Shopper Marketing experience, from strategy to execution to performance optimization and budget management (required).
- Experience in the CPG food industry within the MULO channel(required), familiarity with the natural retail channel and experience in organic and/or dairy category (preferred).
- Experience with a variety of retail media networks and 3rd party providers, including RoundelTM, Walmart Connect, Criteo, Citrus Ad, and Kroger Precision Marketing.
- Passion for organic food and proven ability to be a change agent in the food industry
- Analytical skills (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS); ability to analyze data and draw conclusions that drive efficiency/effectiveness.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to serve as an influential, trusted, successful collaborator with various stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Exceptional computer skills: Microsoft Office, presentation development.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of time

Shopper Marketing ManagerRemote
This role is eligible to be performed remotely, however, if you reside within 100 miles of Organic Valley offices in WI, you will be expected to collaborate onsite in a hybrid fashion for 4-8 days per month. If you reside outside of 100 miles, you will travel in 4 times/year for intentional collaboration and connection.

Summary of Role
The Shopper Marketing Manager is a go-to-shopper marketing expert for our MULO retail channel who can define strategy but also has proven experience in executing with excellence. They are data focused with the ability to turn customer and category information into actionable insights and retail marketing strategies that achieve customer, category, and shopper objectives for our Organic Valley brand. They are responsible for creating best-in-class, shopper-centric activations grounded in shopper and retail insights that align to customer goals and national brand campaigns. They must be knowledgeable in market tactics that drive consumer engagement and sales results.This role will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Customer Strategy, Shopper & eCommerce Marketing Peers, Integrated Marketing, Creative, Category Marketing, Finance, and external agencies and retail marketing contacts, taking responsibility and ownership in delivering strong financial results for CROPP and its retail customers.
Acting as a champion for Shopper Marketing, this role will proactively build organizational energy, understanding and enthusiasm behind the power and capabilities of Shopper Marketing and Sales and Marketing alignment. Base salary range: $80,017.60 - $109,470.40 per year
This salary range is exclusive of fringe benefits. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses. If you are hired at CROPP, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that entry-level candidates to this role should expect to be at the lower end of the salary range and hiring at the maximum of the salary range is not typical.
