What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and focus in a distraction-free private office space while working from home
- Speak with consumers over the phone who are experiencing emotional distress or mental health issues
- Build rapport and engage clients effectively
- Assess risk and document relevant information during calls
- Provide available resources and information to clients
- Identify safe and positive coping strategies and develop safety plans
- Provide emergency intervention when necessary
- Remain calm and professional while multitasking in a fast-paced environment

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in a behavioral health field, such as MSW, PsyD, or PhD, or M.A. or M.S. in behavioral health with a clinical practice emphasis from an accredited program
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state licensing board requirements

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working as a crisis counselor, social worker, therapist, or counselor in a healthcare-related service
