Job summary
Withybush General Hospital is seeking a Sister/Charge Nurse to join Ward 7.
Ward 7 is a 24 bedded ward specialising in Gastroenterology and General Medicine.
Main duties of the job
Ward 7 is offering an exciting opportunity for professional and personal development within these challenging specialities. We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable nurse who is willing to embrace this environment whilst being able to motivate and encourage other members of the team. The team is very dynamic, eager to learn and develop and supportive of each other.
You will work with a nursing team, alongside consultants and the medical teams, various nurse specialists, physiotherapists and other members of the MDT to ensure a high standard of patient focused care.
Ongoing training will be supported in relation to the care of patients within this speciality and the successful candidate will be expected to engaging in leadership for all aspects of patient care, staffing and service delivery.
Experience in this role is desirable but not essential, full training will be provided for professional development.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
