      Site Manager

      London- Islington

      Full Time, Permanent Up to £38,000 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card.

      Who are we:

      We are the largest provider of repairs and maintenance, and regeneration services across the UK. Mears provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm’s Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.

      About the Role:

      We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our rapidly expanding team to work within a busy environment. You will need to undertake the day to day management of construction activities of a designated project or section of a project in order to maximize the company’s profitability and client satisfaction whilst ensuring programme, Health and Safety and Quality Control are upheld to the highest of standards at all times.

      Role Criteria:

      • Health & Safety
      • Implementation of Mears SHE procedures – always putting Safety first, Co-ordination of Subcontractors H&S ensuring RAMs are in place prior to setting to work.
      • Ensure all works meet the required standard.
      • Regular monitoring of progress assisting the CM / PM in reporting progress and managing works to the contract and target programmes. As required updating programmes on a weekly basis.
      • Sub-contract package management (Where part of a large team a number of individual packages will be allocated by the Project Manager). Ensure all sub-contractors are inducted, signed up and working to RAMS, carrying out works as required in a timely manner, meeting required programme dates, and ensuring all necessary quality targets met.
      • Ensure quality control checks completed and all works are at the required standard.
      • Complete daily records & Site Administration as required. Ensure all records, etc filed as appropriate and placed on management system. Work with and update management system as necessary
      • SMSTS Qualification
      • C SSRS Qualification
      • Good IT Skills especially in Excel
      • UK full driving license
