      Job Description

      The Role

      As a Skills Coach, you will play a key role in helping students and job seekers leverage their learning to advance their careers. You will guide and motivate a portfolio of students, providing personalized coaching to help them connect the skills they've gained to real-world job opportunities and professional growth.

      In this role, you will lead live lessons and coaching sessions to teach essential professional development skills while also serving as the primary expert for students and graduates on how to effectively apply their learning to career advancement and job search strategies.

      You will work with students from diverse backgrounds, offering tailored support to help them meet their professional goals. Collaborating with your peers and manager, you will continuously experiment with new strategies to improve outcomes and increase efficiency. Additionally, you will create new coaching session content and resources, contributing to the ongoing evolution of our program and ensuring students have access to the most relevant and effective materials for their career journeys.

      The Responsibilities:

      • Coach students in identifying, connecting, and leveraging the value of their learning to advance their careers, while providing guidance to enhance the overall student experience and help them maximize their potential throughout the program.
      • Lead live lessons to deliver professional development skills to learners.
      • Guide, motivate, and coach a portfolio of students to meet their program and professional development goals.
      • Serve as the primary expert for students and graduates on how to apply their learning to career advancement.
      • Support students with diverse needs, backgrounds, and experiences.
      • Work with your peers and manager to suggest and test new tactics to get better outcomes or to improve our efficiency.
      • Support the development of new coaching session and live lesson content and resources.

      The Requirements:

      • 3-5 years of experience in career or professional development coaching or a related field
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and provide constructive feedback
      • Proven ability to work independently, manage a diverse portfolio, and achieve performance goals
      • Passionate about helping others succeed and adapting coaching techniques to meet diverse student needs
      • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate challenges and provide actionable solutions • Experience in delivering live lessons and creating educational content to enhance learning outcomes
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Slack, and CRM tools for tracking communications and progress
      • Ability to deliver live lessons, create educational content, and contribute to team success through collaboration and innovation
      • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on career coaching best practices and industry trends

      The pay range for this position is $49,449 - $144,227. The actual pay will vary based on geographic location, job requirements, professional experience, and other factors.
