What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Target accounts for conversion to and sales of Research Products instrumentation, research services, and associated reagents
- Develop value proposition models and manage the sales process for instrument/reagent sales within the assigned region/territory
- Collaborate with marketing and R&D to launch new products and ensure they meet customer needs
- Provide technical assistance to customers in product selection and usage
- Maintain CRM database and prepare timely reports on forecasts, sales, and market activity

What is Required (Qualifications):
- PhD preferred; M.S./B.S. in Life Sciences with emphasis in cell biology, molecular biology, microbiology, or biochemistry
- Minimum of 3-5 years of field sales experience selling mid to high-cost capital equipment and associated consumables
- Solid understanding of quality systems and issues related to installation and validation of new systems/instrumentation
- Experience launching new products and coaching or mentoring sales personnel
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present value propositions at Director or Board level

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in targeting academic, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, food, and personal care industries
- Strong computer software skills, including MS Office and CRM database management
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and demonstrate effective time management skills
