      Overview

      BigBear.ai is seeking a SME Systems Engineer/Architect to maintain, manage, and continuously improve or (as required) refresh OBIM's build/integration solutions, and to provide other operations & maintenance (O&M) support (as required) to the customer and/or their Stakeholder communities in achieving their critical mission.


      What you will do

      • Create and maintain automated build processes for multiple environments
      • Develop build and deployment scripts
      • Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance
      • Support and/or implement automation of Development and Testing
      • Support policies, standards, governance, and related guidelines for both operations & maintenance (under GDIT's IDENT O&M contract) and development (performed under separate GDIT contract)
      • Enable successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production

      What you need to have

      • Clearance: Public Trust (DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability)
      • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science, preferably in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field of study
      • 8+ years of related experience
      • Experience with build automation CM tools – Jenkins and Gitlab preferred; knowledge of implementing CI/CD pipeline
      • Experience in Jira to support DevOps implementation in an Agile environment

      What we'd like you to have

      • Experience with build-time dependency management (Maven, Ivy), unit testing and code-coverage tools (JUnit), and functional test automation techniques and tools (Selenium, etc.)
      • Knowledge of source code control management systems and configuration management (i.e., Git, Subversion, etc.) and code branching/merging strategies
      • Some experience in Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL and SQL*Plus
      • Experience in UNIX/LINUX shell scripting; and a proven track record as a self-learner keeping current with the latest techniques to include automated code scanning, automated testing, and continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts
