FAES | Family and Consumer SciencesSNAP-Ed is an evidence-based multilevel nutrition education program that supports individuals and families make their SNAP dollars stretch, teaches them how to shop, cook healthy meals, and lead physically active lifestyles. OSU Extension SNAP-Ed is looking for an enthusiastic SNAP-Ed Program Manager to support the SNAP-Ed Director and its leadership. The SNAP-Ed Program Manager will be responsible for the following: Supervise PSE specialists, training and professional development specialists, and program coordinator Responsible for new employee orientation, NFS, TTH, and ongoing trainings structures Lead communication and marketing of SNAP-Ed state and nationwide through development of infographics and impact statements Provide vision and guidance for PSE interventions statewide Research best practices and quality improvement opportunities for SNAP-Ed programming Lead curricula review, research new curricula, update as necessary Works on annual plan documents with PI and director, including needs assessment, goals and objectives and strategic plan Act as a SNAP-Ed representative in committees and working groups Works closely with PI, director, evaluator, and professional development personnel Lead the annual update of the SNAP-Ed manual Assist program director with program implementation, evaluation, and reporting Perform related duties including attending meetings, reading professional literature, and preparing correspondence Identify opportunities for publishing best practices in SNAP-Ed Connection/Toolkit.
This is a grant funded position which is renewable by the sponsor agency and by OSU.
This is a hybrid work arrangement.
The salary range for this job profile is $58.100 – $77.450. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
