What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the SOC 2 Type I audit process, ensuring alignment with compliance requirements
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of required security controls to achieve and maintain SOC 2 Type I & II
- Work within GRC tools and work management platforms to track and manage compliance-related tasks
- Collaborate with internal technical and non-technical teams to drive audit readiness and control implementation
- Provide guidance on best practices for security and compliance in a cloud-based environment

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience supporting SOC 2 Type I & II audits, including control implementation and monitoring
- Familiarity with GRC tools and work management platforms, preferably Drata and Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of security operations, risk management, and compliance frameworks
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams to drive security initiatives
- Experience working in cloud-based environments is a plus

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional certifications in security or compliance frameworks
- Experience with other compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, HIPAA)
- Previous work in a remote team environment
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Background in a security operations center (SOC)
