What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary incident owner for the Security Operations Center
- Lead incident handling processes including discovery, analysis, containment, and recovery
- Coordinate with other teams to remediate detected incidents
- Communicate intelligence and updates to key personnel
- Manage the entire lifecycle of information security incidents
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security roles
- Relevant certifications such as Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), CompTIA Security+, or CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CSA+)
- Strong understanding of security technologies and strategies including firewalls, IDS, and antivirus
- Ability to work effectively with customers while maintaining confidentiality and integrity
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences
