What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor and analyze security events using Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
- Collaborate with security vendors and internal teams to enhance security alerting and incident response
- Conduct operations surrounding cyber security incident response, including network logging and forensics
- Document actions taken in response to security incidents for communication with stakeholders
- Assist in maturing and optimizing the Security Operations Center discipline

What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Infrastructure and Information Security, preferably in an enterprise environment
- Working knowledge of SIEM products; Azure Sentinel is highly desired
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as KQL, PowerShell, or Python
- Basic understanding of computer operating systems and networking

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working within cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), CompTIA Security+, CCNA, GCIA, GPEN, GSEC, GCI, GMON
- Familiarity with common information security management frameworks such as SOC2 and ISO27001
- Experience with Windows/Linux based servers and IDS/IPS Systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure
