      What you’ll do:

      The Social Media Manager is a key leader and contributor in the Spire Marketing and Communications team. As the driving force behind our social media presence, you will spearhead the strategy and day-to-day management of all social media channels for our network of esteemed orthopedic practices. Your high-impact social media campaigns will drive growth and maximize media value.

      We are seeking an exceptional candidate who combines strategic acumen with hands-on expertise in content development and community building across social media platforms. Collaborating closely with practice teams, leadership, clinicians, and community partners, you will craft and execute social media strategies tailored to support each practice’s priorities and business objectives, and reflect their aesthetic, vision, and voice. Your superior verbal and written communication skills, along with your project management prowess, will ensure the successful implementation of these strategies.

      Responsibilities/Duties:

      • Lead day-to-day social media management on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube for each Spire network orthopedic practice brand
      • Develop and execute monthly social content calendars for all orthopedic practice brands; Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop content that supports each practice’s priorities and business objectives, and reflects their aesthetic, vision, and voice
      • Content development includes crafting patient stories/testimonials, informative condition and procedure specific articles, physician and team member spotlights, orthopedic specialty and service social copy, event posts, and more; Manage content creation, video / photoshoots and sourcing to ensure all content exemplifies brand standards
      • Build/enhance brand stature by partnering with and engaging each practice’s local and online communities, community partners, local teams, and schools to share content; Monitor and respond to all comments and messages for each social account in a timely manner to support the service recovery process
      • Schedule the distribution of content across multiple accounts and channels utilizing scheduling tools like Hootsuite as well as the individual social media platforms
      • Report on key metrics on a regular basis to ensure audience growth, strong engagement rates; Optimize and adjust post content, timing, frequency, and more based on performance insights
      • Stay up to date on platform best practices and industry trends across social media channels; Incorporate innovative strategies to maintain a competitive edge
      • Curate and add engaging content to the website to support social media initiatives and enhance user engagement across platforms; Assist in website updates, ensuring content accuracy, relevance, and optimal user experience

      Who you are:

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field preferred
      • 5 years of social media experience, healthcare marketing experience preferred
      • Proven experience in social media management, with a focus on strategic development and execution
      • Superior verbal, written, copy editing and proofreading skills; Ability to create compelling content and tailor messaging for various platforms and target audiences
      • Detail-oriented, highly organized with ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver high quality results efficiently
      • Strong communication skills and can work in a collaborative environment
      • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices
      • Experience with social media copywriting and asset coordination for multiple accounts
      • Experience with online community management and engagement using brand voice
      • Experience with native social media scheduling and reporting tools, experience with Hootsuite preferred
      • Experience with graphic design tools, experience with Canva preferred
      • Quick learner with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
      • Ability to travel up to 20%
      • Can work out of Stamford, CT or Warwick, RI
