About DCL: Dairyland Collegiate League (DCL) is a collegiate baseball league based in south-central Wisconsin. DCL is going into its fifth year of operation where it has grown from three to six teams and had collegiate players from all levels including graduated high school seniors entering their first year of college to division one baseball players. Internships at Dairyland Collegiate League offer a front row experience to the day to day grind of the sports industry. DCL is a small league and working here offers you the chance to not only experience a variety of roles but allows you to take on your own projects and bring your ideas to life. The ideal candidate for DCL is someone who takes initiative and is always willing to help out the team. Summers in the DCL can be busy but there is no better way to spend your summer than watching baseball!

Weekday Nights and Weekend Games

• In charge of Instagram and X (Twitter) presence to promote the league and players including pre-game, in game, and post-game activities
  • Pre-game: post game details including location, time, and team line-ups
  • In game: record plays, take pictures, live-tweet, and post game highlights / updates
  • Post-game: Post-game interviews with players in coordination with broadcasting interns, post final score, post final highlights (quality start, offensive stats for players, etc.)

• Bring creativity and passion to your position – you will have the space and support to bring your own ideas to life

Related Major(s), knowledge and love for baseball, desire to learn and grow on the job, ability to take on multiple responsibilities, enjoy taking on new challenges and solving problems

*reliable transportation: games are hosted at various locations throughout south-central Wisconsin, transportation is necessary for game attendance
