      Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team as a Data Entry Specialist. The selected candidate will be joining the Automated Weight & Balance System (AWBS) software team at Hill AFB where you will provide data entry support for the sustainment and distribution of the F-16 Automated Stores Configuration System (ASCS). ASCS is a software tool used by the F-16 community. ASCS provides a list of printable operational limitations such as airspeed and G force limits. No prior F-16 knowledge is required. The individual will be required to input data from pdf’s and Technical Orders into a software tool. Software and database shall be updated to correct anomalies and incorporate T.O. changes and new technologies.

      ASCS addresses over 5,000 unique store configurations contained in Technical Orders and will allow F-16 users to select planned aircraft store configurations and receive immediate feedback and notification of unauthorized stores configuration.

      The position requires a high level of attention to detail and great written and verbal communication skills. The applicant needs to be able to interpret differences in data and submit questions for clarification through email to personnel responsible for updating the pdf’s, as well as the data entry team lead. The applicant needs to be able to quickly learn and follow data entry processes. The applicant must well in a team environment as well as independently, with an emphasis on good communications and writing skills.

      Software development and testing skills are not required for this position.

      The AWBS team is currently working a mix of in-office (2 days a week) and teleworking. This mix could change as needed. - Candidate must have a High School diploma or GED, as a minimum.

      - 2 years of work experience in any field

      - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products, such as MS Excel

      - Ability to work a mix of in-office and teleworking

      - Must be a U.S. citizen - Knowledge of Software development and testing principles is a plus

      - Experience working with technical data
