- Develop customized solutions within the platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
- Maintain a flexible and initiative-taking work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully
- Drive modernization and migration of several real time applications to AWS that are low latency, high-volume APIs that run 24x7 supporting critical business processes
- Provide high quality code and design review feedback to other engineers while defining and leading the adoption of standards and best practices for code and design reviews
- 4+ years of development experience in Java
- 4+ years of experience in implementing complex full stack solutions
- 4+ years of experience in Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
- 3+ years of experience in Spring Boot, Maven, Spring framework, distributed systems and microservices architectures
- 3+ years of experience in GIT, JIRA, Docker, JUnit or Mockito
- 3+ years of experience with UI frameworks, preferably Angular
- 3+ years of experience in Typescript, Node HTML5 or CSS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience
- Experience in cloud native technologies, including AWS
- Experience in payments/financial domain
- Experience in using quality and security scan tools such as Sonar, Fortify and Web Inspect
- Experience in Integration Testing of APIs using Postman or JMeter

Software Development EngineerWhat does a successful Software Development Engineer do at Fiserv?
You will be part of our Merchant Solutions Risk & Fraud full stack application development engineering group. You will join an organization responsible for mission critical platforms that support Fiserv reduce financial risk. We build and support highly scalable, available, and best performing tools for risk management process providing opportunity to monitor and manage merchant portfolio. We build and support tools to onboard new clients and perform compliance & risk screening and monitor for card & merchant related fraud scenarios.
This demanding environment will require you to be an enthusiastic critical analytical person who can balance platform stability and resiliency along with modern engineering practices and solutions.
