Job Description
Help us shape the future by defining and building test automation frameworks, both functional and non-functional, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in automated testing. We want to automate everything (well maybe not everything) from critical parts of the pipeline to provisioning test data and environments, you will be at the forefront of automation, enabling our teams to work faster and more efficiently.
As an SDET, you'll be a guiding hand, supporting developers to build tested solutions and promoting automated development practices across the organization. Share your expertise and advise multiple Product teams (Squads) on refining their test approaches, making sure we deliver high-quality products. Advocate for testing, test automation, and quality practices, driving us closer to becoming a fully DevOps organization.
Skills & Attributes:
- Show off your coding experience in Java, JavaScript, or Typescript on Linux, and build powerful test automation solutions using Open Source tools like Selenium, Serenity, webdriver.io, K6, REST Assured, and Appium.
- With your hands-on experience in test automation and integrating test frameworks in a Jenkins pipeline, you'll lead us to testing nirvana.
- Be well-versed in Agile tools like Confluence, JIRA, and Slack and thrive in Agile teams to keep us agile and adaptive.
Things you'll need to know about:
Your ability to build stable and fast test automation solutions will set you apart. A strong understanding of test approaches, methods, and techniques, as well as Specification by example implementation. You'll need to understand the significance of DevOps and how it's transforming the tech landscape. For this, your communication skills will be key in driving success through collaboration.
