What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and develop high-quality, maintainable software modules for the employer's product suite
- Conduct unit and integration testing using appropriate methodologies and techniques
- Analyze requirements and specifications to create detailed designs for implementation
- Mentor team members in proper software engineering methods and techniques
- Analyze and resolve software-related issues from internal or external customers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2-3 years’ experience with Java and Python programming languages
- 2-3 years’ experience working with databases such as Oracle with PLSQL and MS SQL Server
- Knowledge of building web applications using microservices and service-oriented architecture
- Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including continuous integration and unit testing

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Working knowledge of messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ
- Familiarity with CI tools like Maven, Jenkins, and Artifactory
- Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum techniques and SAFe practices
- Proficiency in SQL query optimization and tuning
