What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable PHP APIs, focusing on RESTful services
- Develop and manage Kafka consumers and utilize Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Participate in code reviews, optimize service interactions, and implement performance enhancements
- Document APIs, workflows, and provide training to junior engineers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong proficiency in PHP and experience in developing business or technical applications
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
- Experience with Apache Kafka and Apache Airflow for workflow management
- Familiarity with serverless architectures, preferably Cloudflare Workers
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Information Technology or related field preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with additional programming languages, such as JavaScript or Python
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
