What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, modify, and test embedded software applications in accordance with corporate software processes
- Integrate software components for functionalities such as user interfaces and communication protocols
- Identify and propose improvements to software processes and documentation
- Participate in formal test execution and develop unit tests to ensure software quality
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain design history files
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proficient knowledge and experience in C/C++ programming languages
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in embedded software for medical devices or related field
- Ability to work independently and produce high-quality work with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey information and lead discussions
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with formal software testing methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FDA guidelines, ISO 13485, and IEC 62304
- Experience with Source Code Management (SCM) tools
