- Author complete and quality tests in code using tools like Android Studio, XCode, Carthage, Java, Eclipse/IntelliJ, Appium, UDF
- Report results and analyze causes
- Lead developers in writing their own tests
- Code review developer authored tests
- Participate in design sessions with fellow programmers, business analysts, and other team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution
- Contribute and collaborate in creation and consumption of open, standards-based solutions, while working with existing JPMorgan technologies and infrastructure
- Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages
- Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
- Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
- Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Exposure to cloud technologies

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking, Wealth management space, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm’s state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of the software engineering team, you will work with development teams to plan, write and execute test scenarios. These tests will span both UI and service tests. They will contribute and maintain automated tests and frameworks to ensure feature quality and provide feedback and analysis on failures for new functionality and regression testing. They will identify, track and validate defects. They will identify, innovate and implement solutions to improve testing practices and methodologies. Should have experience writing automated tests for both iOS and Android platforms.
