      Software Engineer Intern - Part Time

      About the Role

      In this opportunity as a Software Engineer Intern - Part Time , you will:

      • Assist with application support and troubleshooting activities; identifying bugs and helping with fixes
      • Develop software with guidance from a lead or other team member.
      • Develop in Java, Javascript/Angular, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle and related technologies
      • Contribute in design reviews, code reviews and test case reviews
      • Collaborating with other developers and internal Thomson Reuters staff to define requirements, build prototypes, and implement features

      About You

      You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:

      • In your last year of studies for your Bachelor's Degree or freshly graduated with a Computer Science or related degree
      • Knowledge in Java and Web-based applications
      • Demonstrate understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing principles, and development methodologies
      • Demonstrate curiosity and an excellent capacity for learning
      • Demonstrated problem solving and issue resolution skills
      • Demonstrate ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing; asks questions and check for understanding.
      • Strong English skills.
      • Team player who loves to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
