Design and development of Microservices (RESTful APIs, Reactive and Batch) based applications.
Development of APIs based on BIAN (Banking Industry Architecture Network) spec
Collaborate within the team to apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.
Develop high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
Contribute to the technical design for system enhancements.
Participate as member of software development team with minimal supervision and occasional guidance.
Provide technical support and assistance to other non-technical members of the team.
Participate in code reviews.
Contribute in support and technical troubleshooting activity. At all times act in a courteous and professional manner and use best judgement to advance the interests of the company, its customers and staff.

Strong Java Core Knowledge
Programming along with problem solving.
Understanding of Restful Services
Spring framework.
Basic of SQL including queries, joins
SDLC with Agile methodology.
A degree in Computer Science or a related field
AWS Cloud related services
- Route 53
- EKS
- Secret Managers
- Network Load Balancers
- S3Knowledge of OAuth2 and MTLS.
Usage of versioning tools like Github
Knowledge of tools JIRA, Teamcity
Concepts related to Continuous Integration and Deployment.
Banking and Payments domain knowledge.

The Payments Technology team resides in the Payments Service Utility and its purpose is to restore the trust of our customers by transforming the Payments services experiences provided by the Bank to 99.999% availability, greater agility and reliability.
Our team is composed of engineers and technology leaders, who bring in the right mix of skills to enable this transformation. We also work very closely with our business and operations colleagues to support these services which are critical to the Australian and Global economy.
Our team is also responsible in driving Engineering Governance, Continuous Delivery and key technological simplification pillars such as Cloud and Payments Event based architecture.
