U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer – PEGA (multiple positions) in Jacksonville, Florida.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer – PEGA position is responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences using Pega PRPC and CDH. Responsibilities include: creating designs while adhering to architectural best practices and Pega Guardrails; integrating Pega PRPC applications with external APIs and databases; defining technical designs considering scalability, reliability, and performance of systems/contexts by using Pega PRPC Design standards; conducting code reviews including using feedback to apply changes and providing guidance; and ensuring all production development follows compliance and security best practices and implement optimizations. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, IT Analyst, or related.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 5 years of experience with all of the following: building applications using Pega Frameworks like CRM, Customer service and PDFS; applying Pega Security concepts; implementing and consuming integration services like SOAP/Rest/JMS/File Listener and error handling in Pega work flow; Pega PRPC and CDH; writing complex SQL Queries, Store Procedures and Views using DB2, SQL Server and Oracle; debugging and troubleshooting application issues using Pega provided debugging tools; Pega PRPC Enterprise class structure design and application profiling; implementing Pega PRPC Decision management/Customer Decision Hub; deploying code using CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins; PEGA UI development; automating code on prior Pega versions, including Pega Infinity 8 or above; upgrading Pega applications from previous versions; providing level 1/front-line product support for applications across PEGA and other techno-functional areas; and providing level 2 technical support as needed to analyze and resolve production issues. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $101,280.00 - $ 127,000.
