What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the Software Team and Operations to understand instrument configuration and operations
- Design, build, and deploy new features for instrument configuration used in lab instrumentation
- Learn the software development lifecycle from conception to deployment
- Engage with various teams and stakeholders to create maintainable solutions
- Participate in full-stack application development to gain a comprehensive understanding of software

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently pursuing a college degree in software engineering or a related field
- Proficient in programming with Python and familiarity with React, Django, and SQL databases
- Comfortable using version control systems such as Git
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to debug code and understand the importance of documentation and testing

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience with pair programming
- An eagerness to learn and take on unfamiliar projects
- Demonstrated ability to seek help when encountering challenges
