Your Day at Yahoo

Join us for a 9-week internship from July 1, 2024, to August 30, 2024 . You will gain valuable work experience while developing your skills and establishing a track record to set you up for your future career. Minimum qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree (Bachelors, Masters, or PhD) in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Capability to commit to a 9-week full-time internship program (40 hours per week.).

• Residing in Taiwan during the summer with legal authorization to work; immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice-to-Haves

• Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and contemporary software engineering practices.

• Experience in either Java, JavaScript, Python or C/C++.

• Experience in HTML5, CSS, Javascript, ReactJS, and familiarity with web development.

• Knowledge of web-based technologies, including front-end development, API development, databases, and data warehouses.

• Exposure to statistical modeling, machine learning, computational linguistics, NLP, feature extraction, and data mining, ideally on a Web scale.

• Interest in recommendation engines, user behavior modeling, revenue optimization.
