- Improving our current tooling for our internal teams
- Building new tooling for our Enterprise customer base
- Leading a team of nearshore software engineers
- Setting the team’s roadmap and building out product solutions with designers
- Managing your team's efficiency and velocity
- Remain up-to-date on ongoing software development activities in the team and help work through technical challenges
- Collaborate with other team members through code reviews and occasional pair programming
- Collaborate with other departments such as CX and Sales to identify and build valuable product features
- Work with team leaders to inform product road mapping, identify bottlenecks or bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- You will work closely with the Engineering, Product, and Design departments
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in one or more programming languages
- Recent experience with Ruby in a production environment
- Recent experience with Javascript in a production environment
- 2+ years of experience managing a team of multiple software engineers
- Experience owning the PDLC for production applications
- Passionate about developing pragmatic solutions and enabling the team to contribute to the problem solving process
- Strong experience in Rails
- Strong experience in React
- Experience with Next.js
- Strong experience in SQL
- Experience as a product manager for engineering teams
- Experience working with nearshore teams
- Experience building Enterprise customer tools
- A positive, solution oriented thinker who takes initiative and adds value

Our teams are growing and we require an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a new team of nearshore engineers focused on expanding our internal and external facing applications.
This is a full-time position based in our Denver, CO office (hybrid working model).
Compensation: This role has an annual targeted base salary range of $160,000 - $185,000, plus an annual 10% performance bonus target. You will also be eligible to participate in Homebot’s Equity Appreciation Rights Program.
