Job Description

Robert Bosch LLC seeks Software Project Manager (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 N. Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48073. Supervision and technical guidance of software development for vehicle computer platform (Converged ECU combining Cluster and IVI domains). Coordinate/Communicate/Collaborate with OEM customers, suppliers and internal stake holders on functional content and milestones. Responsible for the creation of a work breakdown structure, estimation of work packages and maintenance of the product backlog including the identification and management of dependencies to both internal and external suppliers. Monitor the progress of the teams while providing technical guidance for development & software design tasks. Lead technical clarifications to implement stakeholder requirements. Bug fixing and introduce changes. REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of experience as a Software Solution Manager, Software Product Manager, Technical Project Manager, or other occupation involving the development of automotive software, including full life cycle software development. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Utilizing and communicating technical and abstract concepts to external and internal customers; (2) Software development management tools, such as JIRA or RTC, for work package planning, iteration and release planning, change management, defect tracking, source control, and build automation; (3) Software development and software project management within AGILE framework, such as SAFe, Scrum, Extreme Programming, Lean, Kanban, Scrumban, or Large Scale Scrum; (4) Defect Management and triage of backlog to maintain development timeline and quality of milestone releases; (5) Translating customer features into user stories while managing, ranking, and prioritizing this backlog to reflect customer requirements; and (6) Creating user story acceptance criteria.
