The Medtronic Diabetes Operating Unit is on a mission to deliver the power of our Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) algorithm and its proven benefits and to give people with Diabetes a choice in the treatment approach that is right for them. To that end, we are acquiring a patch pump company–EOFlow who makes the EOPatch – a tubeless, wearable, and fully disposable insulin delivery device. We are building the team that will integrate the EOPatch with our next-generation sensor and Meal Detection Technology algorithm. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a historic new chapter for Diabetes as we combine EOFlow and Medtronic's technologies to bring a truly new product to market for people living with Diabetes. We are looking for a “ Software Test Engineer II“ to be a part of this dynamic and high-impact team.

As a Software Test Engineer I, you will provide technical guidance for development and execution of manual and automated test procedures

• Define guidelines for writing manual tests and implement coding practices for automated tests.

• Coordinate technical discussions and problem solving for software projects and collaborate with cross functional teams.

• Coach other engineers on best practices and new technologies and review test designs and test scripts.

• You will be a key interface between the software test team and other cross functional teams. You will provide timely reports for verification activities to the management.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Tests the functionality and performance of software applications or systems software.
• Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in software applications and systems software.
• Ensures software applications or systems software meets technical and functional requirements.
• Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements.
• Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models.
• Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies
